Apparently they've had Candy Crush Saga reinstall itself after Windows OS updates. Rath informed his followers that they had been " passively running Candy Crush for months," which isn't exactly true just because the app has permission to automatically run in the background doesn't necessarily mean it is. Some were quick to point out that the candy game could simply be uninstalled, but as Twitter user Ai Spacedestructor pointed out, that doesn't seem to be as permanent a solution as one might think. There, Windows 10 users discovered that Candy Crush Saga had full permission to run in the background on their PCs without notifying the user at all. Rath urged his followers to check their PC settings, specifically the section for background apps. The unpopular app went more or less unremarked upon for years until YouTuber Lyle Rath made a surprising revelation on his Twitter page.
