
To activate tab groups, open a new tab in the Chrome browser, type the following in its Omnibox (address bar,) then press the Enter key: If you see it, tab groups are enabled and you don't need to activate the flag. Update : to see if the tab groups are already activated in Chrome, click right click on a browser tab and look for the option "Add to new group. Not everyone will get it at the same time, but you can use the Experimental Flag here to activate it if it’s not already activated in your Chrome browser. Google will slowly activate tab groups for more and more people over time. Update : Tab groups will become stable and enabled by default with the release of Chrome 83 on May 19, 2020.
